Accessibility

The Takoma Park Folk Festival strives to be a welcoming and accessible festival for all.

PARKING AND SHUTTLES:

Accessible parking is available on site but is extremely limited and available only on a first-come, first-serve basis. We encourage you to use our shuttle bus service, which is  accessible.  See Directions for more details. Cars with disability placards are also welcome to drop people off at the festival entrance and park off-site.

ACCESSIBILITY:

All stages are outdoors. Abbott stage is in front of the tennis courts and is completely ramped access. Field stage is sidewalk accessible at the top of a hill. Crossroads stage is easily accessible and on flat ground. The other stage (Grove) requires moving over grass or up or down slopes.

SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETATION:

Selected performances will be supported by sign-language interpretation. TPFF is grateful to Capital Sign Language and First Chair Interpreted Productions for donating the services of many talented sign-language interpreters. See the program grid to find out which performances will have sign-language interpretation. Look for this symbol:
